Next Meeting

City Council will have the next regular meeting on Monday, July 20, 2026 at City Hall, beginning at 6:00PM 

TWO Special Called Meetings will be held during the month of June.  Tuesday, June 9 and Monday, June 29 both at 5:30PM.  Both agendas will be posted on our Agendas and Minutes Page but they will be on the first and second readings for the FY27 budget.

Town Government Structure

New Ellenton utilizes a Council form of government with a Mayor and 6 Council members.  Each position is filled by election and has a 4 year term.

Regular Council Meetings are the third Monday of each month at 6:00pm unless otherwise adjusted by the Council.  You can find the agendas and minutes from Regular and Special council meetings as well as work sessions in the Resources section of cityofnewellenton.sc.gov
